OEM integrators must ensure that the end user has no manual instructions to remove or install this module. The Grantee is responsible for providing the documentation required for modular use. The host integrator installing this module into their product must ensure that the final composite product complies with the FCC requirements by a technical assessment or evaluation to the FCC rules, including the transmitter operation and should refer to guidance in KDB 996369. For mobile and fixed operating configurations, the antenna gain must not exceed following for satisfying RF exposure compliance. GSM 850, WCDMA B5, LTE B5: 4.00 dBi, GSM 1900, WCDMA B2, LTE B2: 5.33 dBi, WCDMA B4, LTE B4: 6.19 dBi, LTE B12/B13/B17: 4.35 dBi. When operating with gains greater than 2.8 dBi in the GSM 850 band and 2.0 dBi in the GSM 1900 band the output power reduction detailed in this filing must be enabled for the GSM modes. System installers must be provided with adequate instructions to ensure the correct power settings are enabled for the antennas being used. End user installation is not permitted. Under no conditions may an antenna gain be used that would exceed the ERP and EIRP power limits as specified in Parts 22, 24 and 27.
